Hi Debbie.  I just wanted to pass on our thanks for hosting our winter kids club catch up last weekend. We really enjoyed ourselves there and the food was great. I personally had lots of parents approach me to tell me how they did not know about your cafe and they enjoyed the food. My wife, Sarah, held her 40th Birthday Party at The Library Cafe. The building was perfect for the occasion, the quality food and beverages flowed and the treatment we received was second to none. A wonderful experience. David Nov 2007

The Library Cafe is an excellent place to sit and relax with a book or to bring the kids while chatting with friends or to bring the whole family for a well presented, delicious meal.  I love the fact that The Library Cafe uses fairtrade products and that people with allergies can know that the food they are eating is safe for them.

At last! A funky, modern cafe (with an oxy-moronic twist of an old style setting) that caters for modern NZ families. Mum and Dad get to enjoy great cuisine and feel pampered while the kids happily play inside or out. In a fast, busy-paced city, this is just the kind of all-family setting that we need. We are young parents and no kidding, all our friends are talking about the Library cafe as a breath of fresh air. The selection of food is huge, beautifully presented, tasty, and most of all, i like the sense that this is a community grounded and owned place. I have never recommended a cafe/restaurant to my friends like i have this one. Denise Oct 2008

I have eaten at The Library on a number of occasions and it has always been excellent. As someone who has recently started a gluten free diet it is so nice to find somewhere that serves great food that I can actually eat. If you haven't tried their cheese and rocket puffs yet you are missing out - whether you are gluten free or not. The coffee is always great too and nice friendly service. Would definitely recommend, especially if you have kids. They do cater for all though and if you would rather have a bit of quiet time they do have the separate library room with lovely comfy chairs.” Annie April 2009

We attended a function and were blown away by the beautiful interior design and great kids space both inside and outside. Our girls were busy the whole time we were there and we knew they were safe! I always enjoy returning to this cafe. It is a great place to meet with business contacts, or for a more informal chat with friends. The food is excellent-caters to a variety of special requirements. Don't think I have been to any other venue that has gone to so much touble to cater for the needs of families with excellent indoor and outdoor areas where the small kids can play hapily and lots of space for the rest of the family . Ken Oct 2008

While I don't have children I do love the sound of children having fun and enjnoying themselves. The Library Cafe is a perfect place for families to come, enjoy good food and have the kids occupied. The community and family owned feel comes through in the service and layout. I am not usually one to recommend cafes but this is one worth its weight in gold. Aarron Oct 2008

Fantastic venue !! Perfect balance between the beautiful old building and new contemporary cafe. Food and service was excellent but the atmosphere is what makes it. A very family friendly set up with areas for the kids to play while the adults enjoy a cup of coffee. Also a separate room off to one side if you prefer a bit more peace and quiet with your relaxation. Highly recommended ! Damian Oct 2008

I really love the communication I get from you and the regualr events held at Libary. I pride myself on bringing my glueten free friends to the cafe.

We like coming to your Cafe because of its location and because it's very good for kids. The kids meals are great and all the toys and space for them. The Cafe is beautiful and spacious.

Excellent concept for a family friendly experience, we don't have to miss out while the kids are small & they have plenty of space to move around & bring in buggies. Great coffee! Keep it up guys! I will certainly keep you in mind for next function.

We always enjoy our coffee break at your cafe. Generally we stop on our walk. Other times we call in because we feel like a really nice coffee - just to get out for a break. Thank you to your staff for providing a friendly service that makes our stop enjoyable. They always smile and that creates a great atmosphere.

Love coming to Library Cafe - enjoy the variety in the food. Have recommended it to others, and often use as a meeting-place.
